The Asian Oceanian Congress for Neurorehabilitation, 2021 is happy to announce the Young Investigator Award AOCNR2021 for the virtual conference being held on 6th and 8th August 2021.

AOCNR is the apex body for neurorehabilitation in Asia and its vision is to develop the field and support young multidisciplinary researchers.

A number of young professionals have been developing new innovative methods of care in neurorehabilitation. It is important that their work be disseminated to a larger audience so that patients and families benefit and there is an impetus for original ideas and research.

The purpose of this award is to support and encourage these professionals.

If you feel that as a neurorehabilitation professional you have done work that fulfills one or more of the criteria mentioned below and are within the age limit, you are eligible to apply for the Fellowship.

1. Published Original Research
2. Developed an innovative new method/intervention for a patient(s)
3. Involved in a major multidisciplinary neurorehabilitation project
4. Age Limit: 35 years (Born in 1986 or later)

You will have to describe your work in a 1000 word essay and explain why your work is of relevance and importance to neurorehabilitation research.

A panel of expert judges will select the winners and you will be notified by mail if you have been awarded the Fellowship.

The award of USD 100 for each of the ten best entries will be given at the conference and the awardees will also be asked to present their work at the meeting.

It is mandatory that you register for the conference. Last date for submitting your application (essay +CV) is 15 July 2021.
