Indian Federation of Neurorehabilitation (IFNR), is a multidisciplinary umbrella organization for all experts involved in Neurorehabilitation in the country. IFNR is affiliated to the World Federation of Neurorehabilitation (WFNR) which has global membership and is dedicated to advancing the development and improving the quality of neurological rehabilitation across the world. IFNR also closely collaborates with Asia-Oceanian Society for NeuroRehabilitation (AOSNR) and the Neurorehab subgroup of Indian Academy of Neurology (IAN).
For around a decade, IFNR has been working to train and equip its members with the latest developments in the field of neurorehabilitation. IFNR today boasts of having amongst its members, professionals who are involved in patient care and neurorehabilitation like Neurologists, Neurosurgeons, Physical Therapists, Rehab Physicians, Speech and Swallow Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Clinical Psychologists, Music Therapists etc.
Each year the IFNR Annual Conference has a galaxy of national and international experts who conduct workshops, lectures, debates and interactions which help the students as well as practicing rehab specialists understand various concepts, know latest international trends as well as interact with experts and network with their colleagues from across the country. Even patients forums and support groups are part of the annual event as it gives delegates an all-round view of neurorehabilitation.

In the year 2019-20, IFNR aims to conduct, for its members, a special 1 week training programme with international and national faculty to train them on the latest developments in the field of neurorehabilitation. Hands-on workshops will be the main focus of this training programme.
